Mr. Schlueter was one of my favorite teachers. I think it might have been his first year teaching fifth grade at Glendaal and he helped develop my interest in reading and mathematics. I also remember him being so impressed with the mother and birth of his first child. May he rest in peace.

Our family knew Bob as a teacher at Glendale School. Later I worked with him there. I would see Bob from time to time while out and about in Glenville. He always asked about my kids and was genuinely interested. He was a wonderful teacher and role model. He will be greatly missed.

Claire and Boys, I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We worked as a "team" in fifth grade at Glendaal and I remember some delicious meals at your house. Bob was a wonderful and devoted man to his family, his faith and his profession. Bill Hallenbeck
