Dear Sharon, Claudia and Cathy, I was saddened to read of your mom’s passing and also your dad’s earlier this year. I remember how good both your parents were to me long ago. Your mom was a wonderful lady: welcoming, gracious and kind. I have memories of her excellent cooking, especially pepper steak, pork cutlet and macaroni dinners; iced tea blended with Tang on summer days, driving lessons and her counseling on traditional values. May she and your dad rest peacefully and happily together.
