Dear Jackie, Stephen and Terry and all of Jack's family.
My sincere condolences to you on this sad occasion. Jack was my long-time friend and Drum Corps buddy. We spent many happy hours in our Yellowjacket years, and although our lives did not touch as often as we would have liked, when we DID get together, the years just seemed to roll away, and we were back in Gloversville, cruising Main St.in one of his beautiful Pontiacs! He was a great friend, and will be missed. My thoughts are with you and yours, and I wish strength and solace for you. Bless you Fred

My condolences to all of Jack's family for their loss. Jack and I graduated from Gloversville High School Class of 1951, and he was such a neat classmate. I was in the Yellow Jackets Drum and Bugle Corps color guard also. As I live in California, we kept in touch by phone or e-mail as he was busy being devoted to taking care of Jackie for many years. In the last year or two, I tried to obtain some additional info for him re the history of the Yellow Jackets as it was his pet project.
God bless his soul.

Dear Jackie and family. Our sincere sympathy is with you and your family at this time.
Will always remember Jack as a great Bugle Player, as I too was in the Yellowjackets
Drum Corp as a Color Guard and how we all were so happy to receive the Championship
award.
Only regret, that Jack was unable to complete the story of the Drum Corp he was working on
to be published in our local paper "The Leader-Herald" Gloversville New York.. He contacted
me and a few other member of the Corp last year in Gloversville to obtain names of the
people that were in the corp. Perhaps some day someone will follow thru and submit the
story in one of their "Remember When Column".
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

My Deepest sympathies to Terry and the McCarthy family. I have fond memories of playing cards and going to hockey games with Terry and his Dad, we had a lot of laughs! May your memories comfort you at this difficult time. Your Dad is resting easy now.
