Obituary of Kenneth John Hagadorn

Kenneth John Hagadorn, 96, peacefully passed away on May 9, 2016. Kenneth was born in Cohoes, NY, the son of the late Fred and Mary (Haire) Hagadorn. He was employed by the G.E. Co. and entered the Machinist's Apprentice Program. He was drafted into the U.S. Navy, relinquishing the deferment that G.E. offered. Upon honorable discharge, Ken went back to G.E. and became a manufacturing engineer, and subsequently retired after 45 years of employment. After Jean's passing, Ken met, Marcia Grimm, who was a companion until her passing in 2015. Ken enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling. In addition to his parents and wife, Jean; Ken was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia J. Hagadorn; as well as two sisters; and a brother. He is survived by his son, Andrew (Bernadette); daughter, Susan M. Hagadorn; and three grandchildren, Bradley K., Jeffery L. and Jennifer R. Hagadorn. Nieces and nephews also survive. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road., Glenville on Wednesday, May 11 from 5 to 7 P.M. Interment with military honors will be at 1 P.M. on Thursday, May 12th, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY.
