How well I remember "Mrs. Finch" and her many kindnesses shown to both myself and my family. I remember so well the surprise she brought to Jill and I during our lunch--we were the envy of the elementary cafeteria when she gifted us with hot fudge sundaes in fancy glasses! I also recall the very fancy birthday party she held for me in her dining room--beautiful china and a cake--so thoughtful and appreciated at a time when my own family was struggling to provide the basics. When I married, there she was assisting with her wonderful knack for decorating--such class! "Mrs. Finch" always welcomed me into her home and took an interest in my life throughout the years. I know that Jack has been waiting for her and although her family will miss her deeply, I also know she will be with them in spirit. My deepest sympathy is with you all--I loved your mom, and so appreciated the difference she made in my life.
