It was with sadness that we learned about the death of Rolande. Rolande and her husband Ed were long time friends. We lived, as neighbors, in Topsfield, Mass. and they stayed with us overnight before moving to Rexford, NY. We became quite close friends and remained so until their deaths. We spent many a time with Rolande and Ed playig "O Hell" card game. Rolande was a wonderful cook and we shared many meals with them. Carolyn became good friends with their daughter, Christine, who had two children about the age of Carolyn and Jerry's children. Our children played and enjoyed each others company for many years. When Rolande and Ed were moving to the Schenectady area, we, having lived in the area for many years, assisted them with finding a home. And when we moved back to the area, Clifton Park, we renewed our friendship. We shared many good times with laughter and reminiscing with both Rolande and Ed. After Ed's death, Rolande was very lonely. When she moved in with her son and daughter-in-law, Carolyn was able to visit a couple of times. Good memories are what we have of Rolande, we shared many good times. We will miss her
Unfortunately, we were out of town when Rolande died as well as when services were offered..
With loving thoughts.
