I read about the recent death of Donna and I know the Walsh family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick." ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." So sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I remember growing up and our family would visit with the Myers family (Don & Sue)-great people and a wonderful family. Donna Jane,
Memories of St. Michaels Lane going upstairs into my slightly older cousins room that you shared with Lannie come to my mind.....I thought it was so cool that you guys had make-up and you actually put the lipstick on and kissed the mirrors and it was cool and you were allowed to keep it there and not get in trouble or have to wash it off. It was always sooooo much fun to come over there which we did as a family several times a week!!! The first color TV we all sat and watched in your parents living room....sooo many cherished memories of when we were children....then staying with you when my parents would go out of town when you were married and you taught me to cook some wonderful things....minestra for one...........and then more recently Lori and I would come to the bar on Friday nights just to hang out and have a few laughs.........I always looked forward to those wings!!!! You certainly lived your life to the fullest with what you had and from what I could see shared it and had fun with a lot of friends along the way, and you brought up 4 beautiful children!!!!. Yes you left us too early but to see you live the way you did in the end was pitiful. As we always did and said... even to the end...... a quick kiss and I love You..........until we meet again..........Your cousin Linda
