Dearest Tina, Richie, Kathy, & Kelly:
I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a wonderful man, and I loved your parents and all of you so much. Our neighborhood was the best, and mostly because of the Burkes. As sad as I feel that he is gone, I know that he is now with your mom-- and knowing they are together once again brings me so much joy! They are watching over you and keeping you safe.
The years will continue to fly by, as they have, and I will always hold the idea in my heart that we will ALL be together again some day-- just like on the corner of Pine and Rockland.
I love and miss you all. Please give my love to your amazing spouses and children, especially Lauren and Richie (my wonderful and beautiful students).
