I realize this is very late, to say the least, but I just found out about Tom’s passing, what a shock. I came to know Tom almost immediately upon my arrival in Schenectady (GE) in 1984. Tom was an extremely knowledgeable professional and personal resource throughout my career with GE (retired late 2009) who was always willing to help an educate. My sincerest sympathies to his family.

Tom, You really are one of the best electrical engineers I've worked with. But most importantly, I will remember you as a this person always available to help and coach younger engineers. I really enjoyed working and "chasing" with you golf balls on the course! Note you can't make fun of my French accent anymore. You will be missed, please rest in peace.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have known Tom since 1992 where we worked together at General Electric. I have not forgotten all the kindness and knowledge he shared with his co-workers. Tom was the best.

Jeannine and I are both greatly saddened by the loss of our friend, Tom, and offer our prayers that he rests in peace and his loved ones can be comforted by his memory. I worked with Tom for many years and greatly relied on his expertise , which he always presented in a way that made complex technical issues understandable even to we non experts. It was a special gift that he had and freely offered. Better yet were the many hours we enjoyed playing golf together over the years. I always took pains to play in his foursome so I could partake of his wit and wisdom about the game, and about life. We will miss him greatly! Matt and Jeannine Grumo
