The Palmer Family
I am so sorry for your loss and want to extend my deepest sympathy to the entire family. Moments like this you can never say the right thing but all I know is that another beautiful angel received her wings and will be looking down and guiding all the she held close to heart.

My sincere condolences to you Frank, and your family on the passing of Barbara. I knew her for many years through the Panhellenic Association of Schenectady. She was a woman with a super, big heart and a great sense of humor. She will be truly missed.

To the entire Palmer family,
I speak for my entire family when I say we were shocked and devestated to learn of Barb's death. Joe, Kayla, Abby and I thoroughly enjoyed her during her visits to Kurt & Christine & the kids. She was a truly lovely person with a contagious zest for life. We are so sorry for your loss. We will really miss her!
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Palmer,
I celebrate and honor you, your amazing heart, and your amazing life of giving to our world through shaping and teaching kids.....and ultimately, helping us shape our future!
You were the TOUGHEST and most fair teacher ever. You were the first teacher at Galway Elementary to believe in me. You laid down the law with a angst filled boy looking to push boundaries and break free of authority. You saw through my misdirected bad behavior and saw to my inner core. You didn't see a problem child....you saw my energy, drive, and passion to thrive in life beyond the mundane and typical. You taught me about discipline, restraint, hard work, and positive behavior. You personally arranged for me to wrestle with the High School team after school where I made friendships, set my goal of going to the NY State Finals, and found a sense of purpose. I thought of you and your husband while standing at the NY State Finals in Syracuse in 1995, and thought about you often while representing West Point's team and while studying endless hours into the early morning light. You fostered my passion for wrestling, but more importantly you reinforced my will to work hard academically and scholastically. You did the most amazing thing a Teacher can do.....you saw past a bad kid.....you saw my spark, you loved me, and you nurtured it.
I love you Mrs. Palmer, thank you for all you gave to me, your family, and this world!
Love Sean Baxter

I am so glad we got to spend weeks together this spring. Barb was a wonderful, positive, loving, kind, forgiving person. (We all know she had to forgive me frequently.) The world is a little less kind because of her death.
I am hoping the peace of the Divine descends on you all.
Love to you all, Kathy
